Surrounding Highlights
There are beautiful trips with the historical paddle-steamer fleet on the Elbe to Albrechtsberg palace and to the bizarre sandstone rocks of Saxon Switzerland. Downstream of the Elbe lies Meissen, with the famous porcelain factory. To the west there is the Moritzburg, one of Europe's most beautiful water palaces.
